The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity has proudly sponsored the Made in Bury Business Awards since 2016. For the first two years they sponsored the Best in Class Technology Award and now, for the third year running, are sponsors of the Motoring & Transport Award. In 2019, Dawn Fidler presented the Award to the well-deserved winner's Get Driving Today.

The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity had a great evening at the Awards. They came Highly Commended in the Consilium Community Impact Award and Dawn Fidler came commended in The Square Peg Associates Businesswoman of the Year. What a great achievement.

We would like to give a special thanks to Mark Turnbull for sitting on our judging panel. Mark has been a volunteer with the Charity for over 5 years and along with many others, has organised his own fundraising challenges and supports events that the charity organise. We thank you for your time and support.

The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity was set up by Dawn Fidler in 2013. Dawn's son Josh was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of just three and following on from life-saving brain surgery, Josh was left in a coma for three months. The surgery was very complicated which unfortunately left Josh with very complex physical needs. Josh sadly passed away in 2014 and the charity is committed to helping the lives of other children who suffer from brain tumours and post-surgery disabilities and continue to do so in Josh’s name and honour.
