It came as no surprise to a number of people that Albert Matthews Butchers won the Food and Drink category at the Made in Bury Business Awards.

Albert Matthews has been providing the people of Bury and across the North West with amazing food since 1935; this was when the man himself, Albert Matthews, opened his first ever butchers. Since then, they have grown considerably and in the process, gained a huge amount of satisfied customers.

Today, Albert Matthews have moved with the times and now offer their customers delivery on meat across the North West. Currently, they are in the process of creating a luxury burger range, inspired by the latest trend of premium burgers that has recently sweeped central Manchester.Specialist sausages are also available, including pork, spring onion and ginger sausages, and pork, winter and spice sausages.

Albert Matthew's are currently working on their spring range of foods, some which are inspired by tastes from around the world. From this, it's no surprise that this 75 year old family-run butchers were one of the winners at the Made in Bury Business Awards.
