Today we surprised our last Weekly £2000 Draw winner of April, and this time it was Wendy Corns, from Prestwich and Whitefield GP Federation.

Wendy is a Social Prescriber for Prestwich and Whitefield GP Federation and has been in that role for 18 months. Wendy's role involves helping people access non-medical support within the community. Whether it's signposting people to local support services or running drop-in centres and activities, such as local walks, Wendy really helps to break down barriers for people who are struggling and supports with access to available services. 

Wendy joined the Weekly £2000 Draw as a ticketholder in July 2023 and was happy to hear that she was this week's Weekly £2,000 Draw winner and said that she will be celebrating this evening by taking her son out for a lovely Italian meal, but she will be spending her winnings on a family holiday. Today is Wendy's grandsons first birthday, and with todays big win, she says her grandson is her lucky charm!
