The sun was shining today and what a great chance to surprise this week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw who is Jade Sheen with lucky ticket number 22613! Congratulations from us all.

We called Slattery and spoke to Anthony who was so helpful in playing a vital part in today’s surprise. We also called under an alias name as well to make sure we didn’t give the game away! Anthony secretly let us know that Jade was in until 5pm. We got straight in the car and headed to Slattery Pâtissier and Chocolatiers in the Whitefield.

With Anthony and Mark’s help they pointed Jade out, she was serving in the Restaurant at the time, Leanne sneaked around the tables before saying Jade’s name, she then put her hand to her mouth and said “Oh my god, no!” When Leanne showed the room the giant cheque and that she has won £2000 everyone applauded.

Jade works in the restaurant as a waitress and will be celebrating her 4th work anniversary next month. Jade’s daughter, who also works at Slattery, turns 18 very soon and the winnings are going to go on making the landmark birthday one to remember and we hope that Jade spends some on herself for a treat as well.  

Slattery was founded in 1967 and is a 3rd generation, family run business based, celebrating  their 55th year in business this year. They are great advocates of the draw and have been involved since the beginning with over 40 colleagues having tickets. It’s incredible to have their continued support and we can’t thank them enough!
