This week’s winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Robert Cox with lucky ticket number 21318, congratulations!

Robert has been in the draw since April 2019 and it’s great to have him involved, he said that he joined as he wanted to support local businesses in the area. We called Robert to let him know the good news.

He was in disbelief that he was the Wednesday Winner and couldn’t wait to call his wife straight afterwards to let her know the good news, she was just as shocked and delighted as Robert.

After the surprise we popped over to see Robert to take a photo with the giant cheque. He is a local artist and this year celebrates the 10^th anniversary of the installation of the Donor Wall and the bird in the logo at Bury Hospice that he designed. Robert is going away in September to Lytham for the weekend with his wife and her parents to celebrate his father-in-law’s 80^th birthday and said that he will be able to treat them to make the weekend one to remember. We hope you enjoy!
