This week’s winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Karen Rowlands, congratulations from us all here.

Karen’s lucky winning ticket number was 20921 and she has 2 tickets in the Draw. The first ticket she purchased in March 2018 and then 7 months later, October 2018, she decided to get another after her colleague Jonathan won and it was actually her second ticket that won in the Draw!

Karen got her ticket via Bury Council where she has worked for the last 35 years and is currently in the Service Desk Department. She has two of over 400 tickets that Bury Council employees have, and she is their 39th winner since the draw started. It’s incredible the amount of support that the colleagues of Bury Council give to the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw.

When Leanne called Karen to tell her that she was the £2000 winner she was in complete shock and she that she “isn’t normally lost for words”. We are delighted that she’s won and is now the 2^nd winner from the department that she works in.  

We love to ask the Wednesday Winner what they will spend the £2000 on and Karen is hoping to be able to book a holiday for next year as it’s been quite a while since she’s been away.
