This week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Horsfield & Smith Chartered Accountants with lucky ticket number 20407. Congratulations from us all at Made in Bury!

Jonathan Staples, one of the Directors of Horsfield & Smith, was the person we surprised to let them know the exciting news. They have been in the Weekly £2000 Draw since the beginning, having a massive 20 tickets a week. It’s incredible to have such great support from them, helping the next generation of new local businesses.

We found out that the colleagues at Horsfield & Smith were in a meeting, so Leanne called Jonathan a couple of times in the hope that he’d answer or ring back. When he answered and Leanne introduced herself, he still wasn’t 100% sure why she was calling and was in complete shock that they’d won.

This is the 2^nd time that Horsefield & Smith have won in the Draw and Jonathan was very relieved that we didn’t turn up to record his reaction, but over the moon to have won.

Before Leanne could even ask Jonathan what the £2000 would be spent on, he said he was going to go back into the meeting and let everyone know that they’d won, and the money will be happily spent on the staff.
