This week’s lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Andy Kendall from Nu Form Fire UK with ticket number 21935 – Congratulations!

This is the second win in 8 months for Nu Form Fire as Apprentice Tom Frankland walked away with the £2000 last September. With Andy winning today, it is another win to thank fantastic boss David for!

In June 2020 David Carswell, Director of Nu Form Fire bought 20 tickets and allocated a ticket number to each member of his team – what a fabulous thing to do and a great way to make his staff members very happy.

Nu-Form Fire UK, based on Manchester Road in Bury are the UK’s leading independent fire protection contractor. They specialise in fire sprinkler, water spray, deluge, and foam systems. They operate in the UK and Europe and have contracts ranging from small modifications to existing systems, up to multi-million-pound installations.

We called Andy to surprise him with the news that he was today’s winner but unfortunately his phone went straight to voicemail. Rest assured, we continued to attempt to contact him after trying to catch the call on the video and spoke to him shortly afterwards.

Andy is a Project Manager and has worked for Nu-Form Fire UK for 7 and a half years. He had been working onsite when we had first called so didn’t have his phone on him when we rang.

When Amy told him that he was today’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw he was incredibly pleased! He said he had been having quite a stressful day so far so this news had really made his day. He will be using the money on a family holiday to Majorca later this year.

The Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw is a not-for-profit initiative and costs just £2 a week to enter. The funds raised from the draw go towards supporting start-up businesses in Bury.
