So, it’s everyone’s favourite day of the week at Made in Bury…Winning Wednesday. This week’s lucky winner of the Weekly £2000 Draw is Sandra Seymour, congratulations from us all here.

Sandra’s winning ticket number was 22235 and she has only been in the Draw for a few months. She has 3 tickets per week and it’s great to have her support, thank you.

We had to try and ring Sandra a few times before she answered as she was at work. Even when she answered she wasn’t sure why Leanne was ringing her and was in complete shock that she’d won.

Sandra, who lives in Bury, bought her ticket after seeing a local family friends’ business win on Facebook after they signed up for the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw and she is so glad that she did.

When Leanne asked what Sandra would spend the winnings on, she had no idea at the time as she’d never won anything before. Her and her husband are hoping to be able to get away on a much-anticipated holiday to Greece after their original holiday to Turkey has been cancelled due to Covid, so some of the money will go towards that. Also, Sandra’s son is flying the nest very soon and moving into an apartment so some of the £2000 will go towards helping him out.
