It’s the last draw of October and this week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Elise Marie Challis with lucky ticket number 22432! Congratulations.

Leanne met Elise back in July 2021 via a Zoom with a few of the wonderful people from Mum’s in Business. Elise joined the Weekly Draw after finding out that Heather Rose had won and though why not support other businesses and give herself the chance to win £2000… and she sure is glad that she did.

We rang Elise to let her know that she was the winner, she is currently away on holiday in Scotland and sadly had extremely bad connection. We could barely hear each other and then the call cut off, so we had to confirm via WhatsApp that she was the winner. Elise said that she was in a restaurant when she found out the amazing news and cried with joy.

She is away with her 3 children; Rupert who is 4, Annabelle 2 years old and Olivia who is 1 years old. It’s been a really difficult couple of years for the family, Rupert has been in and out of hospital with post Covid complications, resulting in him now needing to use a wheelchair and struggling to eat. So the £2000 is a much needed relief of some good news and something to celebrate and we are so happy for you.

As a busy mum Elise is a group leader for a Mums in Business, also a health coach, while also trying to spread aware about the impact of long term covid. All being well the £2000 will go towards taking the children to Disney Land Paris next year, we hope you have the best time!
