It's an extra special Winning Wednesday as today marks our 200th winner and we have now given away an amazing £400,000 in prize money. So this weeks winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 is Beverley Ashwell with ticket number 22569. Beverley has 2 tickets in the draw and it’s her 2nd ticket that is this week’s winning number! Congratulations from us all.

When Leanne rang Beverley and let her know that she was the winner, Beverley was in complete shock and couldn’t believe that she had won, it’s made her day, month and year she told us.

Beverley has worked for Woodcock, Haworth & Nuttall Solicitors for the last 2 years, working on reception, as well as being a secretary. The business have been great advocates of the draw since the beginning and sent a communication to all their branches to see if any colleagues would like to join for a chance to win, Beverley is so glad that she joined. This is now the 4th winner they have had.

Leanne asked Beverley what she was looking to spend the £2000 on and without hesitate she already knew, a chimney repair! She has been saving up to have this done for a while and now the repair can go ahead sooner than expected, which is an absolute blessing for Beverley especially with all the bad weather that we’ve been having. Hopefully there will be some left over for Beverley to treat herself as well.
