It’s the first draw of November and this week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Michael Herwald with lucky ticket number 21207! Congratulations.

Michael joined the draw back in November 2018 after attending the Made in Bury Business Awards at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich and as a businessman himself he wanted to support local start-up businesses in the area.

We rang Michael to let him know that he was this week’s winner. He said that it’s made his day and he was really chuffed about winning! Michael told us that he is going to put most of the money towards a holiday, however he is going to donate £100 to Prostate Cancer UK having survived it himself.

Prostate Cancer effects 1 in 8 men in the UK and is more likely to affect those aged over 50, however if caught early enough it is easy enough to recover from and likely to be cured. What a wonderful gesture from Michael to support a charity close to him.
