11am                  Salle Kiss Fencing Club

Salle Kiss Fencing Club is one of the leading Fencing organisations in the North-West of England.

The club is run by former Olympian and seven times Hungarian National Foil Champion, Robert Kiss and his wife, Natalia Gyuricska, who is also a highly experienced fencing teacher.

11:30                Freak Dance – Dance Slot

Freak Dance welcome children and adults of all ages and abilities with varying needs with open arms.  They aim to bring out the best in all of their students, not only in dance and the arts but in confidence and personal and social skills. Even if a student has no dance or performance experience teachers at Freak Dance are with them every step of the way catering for their individual needs whether it be in a private one to one lesson or in a class situation.

12:00                Terryokee Disco

Why not join Terryokee and his team at our childrens disco! Totally free to join in for everyone... yes even for you grown ups if you like a good old bop!

Terry and his team will be playing those songs your kids just have to get up and dance to! You can take a midday rest with a cup of coffee and a snack as your kids are entertained (and tired out) at the Terryokee Disco.

12:30               Bury Acapeelers Community Choir

Acapeelers are an acapella choir (voice only) based in Bury, Lancashire. They started in March 2009 and currently have around 45 members. 
No previous experience of singing in a choir is necessary; they do not audition and there is no need to be able to read music as they learn by ear.  Acapeelers sing a variety of music including pop, jazz, blues, folk, rock, African, Gospel and other world music styles. 
They sing at local events around Bury. Acapeelers encourage everyone aged 14yrs and over to come and experience the joy, confidence and sense of achievement that singing brings to an individual. 

The first session is FREE – come along and see how you like it.

Mecca is not only the place to play a range of fantastic games online, in club and on your mobile; it's also home to a friendly online community. We pride ourselves on our accessible bingo chat rooms and warm in club welcome, where you can meet great new people at the same time as playing some brilliant games! Mecca will host three games of bingo for a selection of fun prizes. Everyone who takes part will receive a free three page book, a bingo marker and a voucher for four people to play for free at Mecca Bingo in Bolton. Over 18’s only.

15:00                Debra Simmons School of Dance

Established in 1979 the Debra Simmons School of Dance has trained children through to adults in all aspects of performance. Teaching the IDTA syllabus we offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Musical Theatre and Street Dance. The Debra Simmons School of Dance encourage students to study a mixture of these genres and strongly believe by doing so this creates a well-rounded and versatile performer. Classes are interactive and fun, the perfect second home for your child's love of performance to develop.

14:30                Bloco Ashê

Bloco Ashê are a percussive group playing samba influenced grooves and global beats from Brazil, Cuba and Africa.

They promote, support and develop percussion-based music and related carnival arts in our local community. They have a variety of drums as well as hand held percussion instruments, so tall or short, young and not so young can find something to suit them.

Between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday 14th May you will find them performing their music and providing a lively carnival atmosphere at our Lifestyle Fair.

The band warmly welcomes new members, young and not so young.  This is a great opportunity to really be part of the joy, fun and explosion of energy that is carnival!
