A range of top quality local produce can be won by companies who attend the Made in Bury Business Fair on Thursday 18 June.

As the event's headline sponsor, Bury Council is running a free prize draw for a box of goodies including Slatterys vouchers, Bury Black Puddings, Lancashire Sauce and Super Josh Ale.

The business fair is the biggest of its kind in the borough, and takes place at the Castle Armoury in Bury from 10am to 4pm. The council has its own floor to showcase the help it can give to businesses, and all those who sign up for the event's Welcome Pack will be entered into the prize draw.

The event will feature over 100 exhibitors from a diverse range of businesses across Bury and Greater Manchester. With over 1,000 delegates expected to attend, the event will be the largest the borough has ever seen giving companies the opportunity to network and promote themselves to over a thousand professionals.

Made in Bury Business Fair will feature a dedicated business support centre from Bury Council promoting some of our key messages and services from across the Council, including teams from Procurement, Adult Learning, Recycling & Waste Awareness, Property & Assets and Environmental Protection. We will also be joined by some of our Business Support Services from organisations such as the Business Growth Hub, Ingeus and Get Digital Faster.

As well as exhibitors, business seminars will take place throughout the day with Bury Council running a seminar from 12.10 pm – 12.55 pm about the role of public procurement in supporting the local economy. The seminar will be facilitated by Adrian Nolan from the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, alongside Sarah Janusz, Head of Strategic Procurement at Bury Council and Peter Schofield from the GM Procurement Hub.
