In order to prepare our exhibitors for the forthcoming fair, this blog details a few ideas you need to grab attention, attract potential customers and show professionalism on and through your booth.

With over 100 other booths, you need to drive attention to YOUR company as well as reflect your industry well.  It’s simple, don’t turn up with a pack of shabby business cards, wearing your weekend attire and with nothing to characterise your booth.

Whatever your reasons may be for attending the North West’s premier business fair, it’s important that you prepare not just for your own appearance, but your booth’s. By failing to prepare, you’re preparing to fail – so what do you need in order to make the most of your opportunity?

Products

The contacts you’ll meet at this business fair could be invaluable to you and your business – but only if you can remember them. All too often, the business cards, flyers, brochures and stand banners are popular but simple items such as pens and notepads are key. They might not be the flashiest elements of your office but they’re among the most important. Plus, everyone loves a good working pen, don’t they?

Booth

Keeping this in mind, it’s always important to think outside the box. Want to show you’re an innovative company with fresh ideas? Well, prove it. Promotional goods can be anything these days, from nail files and pen drives to even car chargers and cupcakes. It’s guaranteed that if you don’t think of something quirky, fun and innovative, you could be forgotten. Keep your branding consistent too.

As you have a three-walled BOOTH, not a stand, you have the ability to design your business hub exactly as you wish. This means that you should decorate the walls with posters, flyers, images.  There are literally no limitations to the booth, we don’t even want to restrict you with a particular table cloth; your booth is YOURS and the more character, the more attention.

Showcase

It’s not just printing companies who have the opportunity of showing their work on the stand, whatever your industry, there is more than likely a way you can display your products/services.

Trade: A portfolio of the jobs you’ve carried out – great for landscaping, and building work

IT: A laptop/tablet to show your online portfolio including web design, social media and more

BIG or small products: We’re even expecting a car housed in one of the superior booths, again, the options are huge.

REMINDER: With less than two weeks to go, now's the time to order your products! Printing companies will be busy and you don't want to miss out!
