2020 is set to be an exciting year for Bury Council. As Bury celebrates being awarded the Town of Culture for the very first time here in Greater Manchester, guests were invited to the Met where Bury Council revealed plans for their events calendar over the next 12 months. From poetry to music, comedy and sport, the town is set for a jam-packed events programme bringing the community together through its culture. Bury will also welcome a new mayor in May, Councillor Tim Pickstone, who will take over from Councillor Trevor Holt.
The North West Premier Business Fair is taking place on Thursday 5th March at the Stables Country Club here in Bury. Launched in 2015, each year we see exhibitors return to the Business Fair due to their successful generation of new sales and customers. We also welcome many new exhibitors which provides a fantastic range of businesses from across the North West creating a unique networking experience with around 400 attendees.
