Another Winning Wednesday, another lucky person walking away with an extra £2000 in their bank! This week’s winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Carl Parker with ticket number 21749.

Carl has been in the draw since January 2020 and bought his ticket because his Fiancée Jessica was a member of the Made in Bury Business Academy with her business Wing Cleaning. Carl has seen how beneficial structured training and mentoring can be to a new start-up business with Jessica being part of the Academy and seen what the money from the draw goes towards.

Amy called Carl to surprise him with the news that he was this week’s winner! He definitely wasn’t unaware of the fact that it was a Wednesday, and he was receiving a call from Made in Bury. He said he had a small inclination we may be calling about the draw. When Amy said to Carl that yes, he was right about the reason she was calling as he was in fact this week’s £2000 winner his reaction was “you’re joking!”

Carl was made up with the fact that he was this week’s winner and said it felt brilliant! He is looking to get a new house with Jessica so the money will go towards that.

Carl is the Stock Manager at International Timber based at Trafford Park and is coming up to his 2-year anniversary of working there on Tuesday.
