In the run up to Christmas Made in Bury launched their ‘Winning Weeks of Christmas’ Campaign. They teamed up with some amazing local businesses in the Bury borough who support the Draw to become the ‘Sponsor of the Week’ while providing an incredible gift for a lucky winner each week.

With the difficult year that everyone has had, Made in Bury wanted to show their support and appreciation to not only the wonderful people who support the Draw with tickets each week, but to bring awareness to some amazing local businesses in the area, showing the incredible products and services that we have on our doorstep.

We started the campaign on Wednesday 18^th October with a ‘Sparty for 3’ and a ‘Pamper at Home’ kick from Suzanne at Little Haven at Home. Week two was a selection of gifts from the lovely Karen at Paws for Coffee on Tottington Road including an afternoon tea for four and a dog hamper. On week three one lucky winner won a ‘Dinner, Bed and Breakfast’ for 2 donated by The Bolholt Country Hotel off Walshaw Road and they even threw in a bottle of wine as well. The 4^th week of the campaign and Louise from Balloons from Design offered a balloon arrangement up to the value of £200 and the lucky winner had 12 months to redeem it. Week 5 and the team at The Bury Black Pudding Company gave away a £100 Tesco voucher and a Hamper with lots of Black Pudding goodies. On the 6^th week the sponsor of the draw was Currys in Bury, the manager Jade donated a Tech Hamper worth over £180. The next local business to donate a prize was Slattery Pâtissier & Chocolatier in Whitefield who gave one lucky winner a wonderful chocolate hamper worth over £150. The final week was proudly sponsored by Sky Bar in Bury Town Centre giving an incredible Bottomless Brunch for 6 people worth £180!

Thank you for being involved in the campaign and providing such fantastic prizes each Wednesday. The support is truly valued, and it was a pleasure for Made in Bury to have each business involved in the campaign.

Winning Wednesday continues throughout 2022 and £2000 will be given away every Wednesday! For only £2 a week you could be topping up your bank account with £2000 on a Wednesday and helping the businesses of Bury at the same time. If you already have a ticket in the draw, why not tell your friends and family about it and give them the chance to be involved in Winning Wednesday so that they too can get excited about walking away with the cash prize!
