It is Winning Wednesday again, and a very exciting one here for the Made in Bury Team as we got to surprise this week’s winner in person (socially distanced of course)!
Congratulations to Lindsay Holt from Chadwicks of Bury with ticket number 21101!
Chadwicks of Bury which is part of the Clondalkin Group is a world leader in heat seal, pre-cut lid and shrink sleeve manufacturing. They maintain their position at the forefront of the industry by using the latest technology and processes. Working to the highest possible standards for the past 50 years Chadwicks have their head office and manufacturing site on Villiers Street in Bury.
With numerous employees having tickets in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw, Lindsay is now the third winner from there!
Lindsay has worked for Chadwicks of Bury for 22 years and has been a Charge Hand there for 6 years. She spends her days doing office work, checking on the machinists and generally overseeing other employees onsite.
We got the chance to surprise Lindsay in person today as we found out Lindsay was in on shift after a phone call to director John Chadwick. With a little help from John and Lindsay’s manager Simon, who has previously won himself, we got to surprise Lindsay in Chadwick’s Reception.
Lindsay couldn’t believe she’d won the money and said she has the ticket with her fellow colleague, Christine Jennings who wasn’t at work today and they will share £2000 between them. She said Christine will be delighted with the news and apparently mentions Winning Wednesday often and has been eagerly waiting for the day it arrives. Lindsay said she told her “our time will come”. Well this is it! Your time has come! Sometimes things in life are worth waiting for…patience is definitely a virtue!

There are only 2,400 tickets available and for just £2 per ticket per week, you have a chance to WIN £2,000 every Wednesday.

2. Wait for your number/s to be issued along with details on how to set up a standing order via your online banking.
3. Set up your standing order, cross your fingers then wait for the Winning Wednesday call!
