Congratulations to the winner of this week’s Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw… Warren Senior from Senior Waste Removals!

Senior Waste Removals is a waste collection company that was set up in 2015 by owner Warren Senior. In 2017 the company joined the Made in Bury Business Academy which is funded by the Weekly £2,000 Draw. Since then, Senior Waste Removals has become an award-winning business and has been recognised for their environmentally friendly practices.

This week the cheque was presented at BusinessLodge Bury, where the Made in Bury office is located. We enlisted the help of Emma, Operations Assistant at BusinessLodge, to get Warren here under the false pretence that they had a removal job for him. We sneakily hid in the reception and surprised Warren when he came to the welcome desk.

Warren had no idea about our surprise and was completely shocked to find out that he was this week’s winner. Thanks to the Bank Holiday weekend, Warren hadn’t even realised that today was Winning Wednesday, so it was even more of a surprise! Warren said he would put his winnings towards either moving house or a holiday. Whatever he decides, we’re sure his family will be extremely pleased!

The Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw is a not for profit initiative licensed by Bury Council that helps start-up businesses in the borough.
