Today’s £2000 Winner is Lindsay Rolt with ticket number 20030 – Congratulations!

Lindsay works for Bury Council as a HR Business Partner. She has been working in the Human Resources Department for 14 years.

There are lots of Bury Council employees with tickets in the draw and it is fantastic to have so many of them behind us and have their support!

We tried to surprise Lindsay with the news that she was today’s £2000 winner and hoped to catch her reaction on video but unfortunately, she didn’t answer her phone when we were filming. Nevertheless we don’t give up easily when it comes to surprising our winners and we do everything we can to get the news that they’ve won across to them.

After putting a ‘WANTED’ post up on our social media accounts with a photo of Amy holding Lindsay’s £2000 cheque, we managed to grab the attention of someone that knows Lindsay. A little nudge in the form of a message from Lindsay’s boss Adam to encourage Lindsay to check her voicemail meant that we got to speak to her and let her know that she had won!

Lindsay has two tickets in the draw and has been playing since February 2018 so was absolutely delighted to find that she had won today’s cash prize. She hopes to put the money towards a well-deserved holiday next year.

What a brilliant idea. Congratulations again Lindsay!
