This week’s lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Sarah Cottam with ticket number 21405.

Sarah has had her ticket since May 2019 and worked at Sambro International on Dumers Lane Bury for three years. She bought her ticket whilst she worked for Sambro and has continued to play in the draw even though she no longer works there. Sarah lives in Bury and is the Financial Manager at Crown Paints in Darwen. Sarah kept her ticket on as being in the draw helps local businesses in the borough and we really appreciate her support. It has well and truly paid off as she got to walk away with the £2000 today!

Amy surprised Sarah with the winning call and she was thrilled with the news that she had won!

It took her a moment to realise the significance of the call from Made in Bury on a Wednesday but once she did she was slightly lost for words! Sarah said her Wednesday was going quite well, but now with this news it had got even better!

She actually won £5 on the lottery this morning so today is definitely her lucky day. They do say good things come in threes and this £2000 is the second lot of luck today, so maybe a third is on it’s way! We think Sarah should buy a ticket on tonight's Euromillions! 

Amy put Sarah on the spot when she asked what they money would be spent on. Sarah said it will probably go on a holiday as they haven’t been anywhere for a long time. That sounds like a fantastic idea.
