Although it was the 13^th of October, which it’s unlucky for some, it wasn’t for the Wednesday Winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw. This week’s winner was Hariett Dawson with ticket number was 22231. Congratulations!

Harriet has been in the Draw since March this year, emailing in to join after seeing a few posts on the Facebook Group and she was so happy that she did.

When Leanne called Harriet and said where she was calling from the first thing she said was “Oh my god, shut up!” before Leanne had even said she was the winner as she thought it was a joke. She was having a terrible day, and this made it so much better.

We didn’t know too much about Harriet before we called to give her the amazing news, so she was able to let us know that she’s from Ramsbottom and purchased her ticket when she was working at Viva PR based in Rawtenstall before recently moving to a company in Manchester called iProspect, working in the Digital PR Department. The company revolves around helping companies to rank better on Google, so they produce fun and creative campaigns to catch media attention.

Harriet has seen a few of the previous videos from winners, so when Leanne asked what she was going to spend the money on she said a clothes shopping spree and maybe a city break with friends or putting the money towards a car. It’s amazing to know that we’ve turned Harriet’s terrible day around into a day she won’t forget.
