It was a glorious day in Bury on the 2^nd Winning Wednesday of September and it was Leanne’s first opportunity to go out and surprise the winner in person which just made it even more exciting! The lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Sarah Kendell.

Sarah’s winning ticket number was 21280 and she has been in the Draw since March 2019. Most of the colleagues at Financial Options Group have a ticket in the Draw and Sarah is their 3^rd winner. It’s amazing to have the support of Sarah and the rest of the colleagues, we appreciate it so much.

With the help from Charlotte Banks, a previous winner of the Weekly £2000 Draw, we were able to arrange to go and surprise Sarah in the middle of a Team Meeting. What Sarah didn’t realise is that the rest of the team were already in on the surprise just before we turned up!

Sarah has worked for the Bury based Financial Options Group for 18 years, she plays an instrumental role in their business strategy and management of the firm while providing expert advice to individual and corporate clients. Sarah also takes the lead on event organisation and fundraising for the Financial Options Group Charitable Foundation.

She was absolutely dumbfounded that she’d won and has no idea what to spend the money on, but I’m sure her little boy and Murphy the dog will get an extra treat or too.
