This week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Peter McDonald with lucky ticket number 20806! Congratulations from us all.

It was a glorious day so we went down to Conservatory Insulations in Radcliffe to surprise Peter. Leanne called the office and spoke to a lovely colleague called Alison. Leanne initially explained why she was there and that she wanted her help to surprise Peter; Alison and the others in the office thought it was a joke at first, but when they realised it was true Leanne was greeted by several colleagues who were so excited for Peter and even more excited when they saw the giant cheque.

Some of the colleagues did try and call Peter to get him to come into work without raising any suspicion, but sadly he was feeling a little under the weather. Thank you to everyone at Conservatory Insulations for keeping the surprise a secret until we called Peter, especially Georgia, Matt and Richard the Marketing Director.

Leanne called Peter to let him know that he’d won £2000 and he couldn’t believe it, he was absolutely shocked and it has made his day. Peter has been in the draw since July 2018 and it’s incredible to have his ongoing support. He’s looking at spending the winnings on his wife and children. Peter’s youngest, Leon, is turning 2 years old very soon so some of the winnings will go towards a very special party for him as Peter told us that he was born 2 months premature, he was very tiny and he's truly grateful at him being in everyone's lives.

Conservatory Insulations are the UK market leaders in conservatory roof insulation. They will be celebrating 10 years this year, with around 160 employees many of which are local to the Radcliffe area, the incredible team thrive on ensuring they are the best at what they do. They can make your conservatory warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, with rising living costs it’s a great way to transform an old conservatory, save money and make the space more liveable all year round.
