The sun‘s shining and we're delighted that we get the chance to go and surprise this week’s winner in the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 draw who is Laura Tierney with lucky ticket number 22243. Congratulations.

We jumped in the car and headed to Bolton Street in Ramsbottom to surprise Laura at the Salon she owns, The Cutting Room.

As we walked into the salon Laura saw the giant cheque and said “Are you serious!” she was in absolute shock. Laura said that she never wins anything and that it has made her year. She has been in the Weekly Draw since March 2021 and has 2 tickets.

Laura has owned The Cutting Room for just over 6 years and has an apprentice that also works there. It has always been her dream to have her own salon and she absolutely loves what she does and working for herself. Laura joined the draw after a flyer was dropped off in the shop and decided that she wanted to support local businesses in the area, so joined and how amazing that she is a winner as well now.

The £2000 is going to go towards a holiday Laura and the family have booked next month in Greece. We hope you have a fabulous time in the sun.
