It’s the first Draw of August and today’s lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw is Nik Caldeira who bought his ticket via Exchange Utility.

Nik, with lucky ticket number 21519, has been in the draw since November 2019 with 2 tickets, thank you for your ongoing support.

Nik has worked at Exchange Utility for 4 years this November and is a Sales Team Manager there. The Bury based company provide energy management solutions for thousands of UK businesses, and they are massive supporters of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw, it’s fantastic to have their backing.

Nik said afterwards that he thought the call was a prank from one of his colleagues, working in sales that is the sort of thing they would do to each other in their office. It was only when Leanne called Nik back that he realised it was true and it’s the best call he’s had in ages!

Like many, it’s been a tough year for Nik and the family. Jo, his partner, sadly lost her Dad in February. He’s hoping to put some of the money towards getting an annex for Jo’s Mum who has moved closer to the family. Also, Nik recently got engaged at the beginning June due to Covid this didn’t go quite to plan, with their son Dylan testing positive on the day. He’s hoping to be able to book a nice meal have the night they deserve after everything they’ve been through in the last 12 months.
