Wednesday’s lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2000 Draw on 17^th November 2021 was Ian Varrechia with lucky ticket number 21307! Ian joined the Draw in May 2019 through his workplace, Six Town Housing where he has worked in the Repairs Department for the last 5 years. Congraulations Ian from us all at Made in Bury.

Sadly, we couldn’t go to surprise Ian in person, but it was a delight to call him, and he was so excited that he was this week’s winner. The first thing he did when he found out that he won was to shout to his work colleagues in the department that Leanne was on the phone, and he’s won the £2000.

Fate played its part this week for Ian as he said that he had told his work colleague on the Tuesday that he felt like he was going to win the Made in Bury Draw on Wednesday. He also told his partner Tuesday night while he was getting his stuff ready for work that he was going to wear his Wednesday socks as it was ‘going to be a good day’ and Ian couldn’t have been more spot on!

Ian is going to visit his Father-in-Law in Fuengirola early in the new year, which has been previously cancelled due to Covid, so the £2000 is going to go towards the holiday to make the trip extra special after the delay.
