Today’s Winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw is Barry Sanderson from Lacey Plumbing & Heating Ltd with ticket number 20593!

Barry has had a ticket in the draw since the very beginning and when we found out he’d won we hoped to be able to surprise him with the news and get him down under the pretence that we had a leak here at Bury Business Lodge!

After a call to manager Becky with the good news that one of her team members had won the £2000, we found out that Barry was actually out of town today and busy on a job, so we went with the winning phone call instead.

When Debi called Barry with the fantastic news, he actually had no idea why she would be calling on a Wednesday and had completely forgotten he was in the draw as he has been playing for so long through his payroll. A shocked Barry said he doesn’t know what he’ll be spending the money on yet. I think we caught him off guard with the news and I’m sure he’ll come up with something to spend it on!

Barry, otherwise known as Baz, is named The Special One of the Lacey Plumbing & Heating team. Being their all-round star plumbing & heating engineer in the company for 7 years, he likes to keep the people of Bury warm and happy.
