On Wednesday 25th July, we had the pleasure of presenting the £2,000 cheque to the 12th winner of the Made in Bury Business Draw.
This week’s lucky winner is Erica Edmunds, a drinks waitress at Stattery Patisserie and Chocolatier.
Slattery is a huge supporter of the Business Draw and we were thrilled to be able to pay them a visit to present the cheque to Erica. Slattery was founded in 1967 and is a 3rd generation, family run business based in Whitefield.
Click here to view the moment Erica was presented with the cheque to a round of applause from both her colleagues and happy diners during a busy lunchtime at the popular eatery.
We asked Erica what she would spend her winnings on and were delighted to hear that she has a fledgling business that she will invest the money in. Her business ‘Glamorous Roses’ creates beautiful, bespoke artificial glitter roses made to your personal specification, all available in different colours to add that extra sparkle to your home or business premises.

Every week, just 2,400 tickets are available at only £2 each, with a fantastic opportunity to win £2,000. Proceeds from ticket sales will help new start-up businesses through the Made in Bury Business Academy, and support interest free loans.
The draw is open to all Bury businesses, organisations and their employees and we are already looking forward to surprising next week’s winner – could it be YOU?
