The H.H Smith & Sons Environmental Award was a fantastic award to win for the team at Stay n Play Doggy Daycare. 

The team have worked hard over the past 12 months, since the last MIBBA's, to ensure that the company are doing everything they can to reduce their impact on the environment. Stay n Play have opted for a more environmentally friendly option for when disposing of dog waste - biodegradable poo bags are a simple but effective option in helping save our planet little by little! As well as this, the team have cut down their water usage by around 40%, which is another great example of being more efficient and mindful of the impact their business on the environment. 

Winning the Commended award for this category is a great achievement for Stay n Play Doggy Daycare as this attracts more customers who can see that the business has won multiple awards for all of their hard work!

The second Commended award that Stay n Play took home was The Start-Up Business Award sponsored by Natwest! 

When presenting to the judges, Luke stood out when he spoke about there being a gap in the market for a business like his. Of course Kiera the therapy dog made an appearance too!

Luke began by extending his work hours from 7am-7pm so people can have peace of mind when collecting their dogs after work during rush hour. As well as the hours being more accommodating to the customers, dogs can get a bath and a groom all whilst in safe care.
