After much anticipation, the shortlist for the Made in Bury Business Awards 2016 has been announced – with categories such as Start-up business and Community Impact hitting a record number of entries, making 2016 the biggest year yet with the highest number of applicants!
The Made in Bury Business Awards also known as the MIBBAs, are organised by Made in Bury Ltd and sponsored by Bury Council, thebestofbury and TowerFM.
The MIBBAs are in their fourth year and are championing businesses in the borough and celebrating their outstanding achievements.
The entries for the 2016 awards are to the highest standard seen yet, and we’re delighted to announce this years’ shortlist!
The shortlisted business are invited to attend a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the judges at the Longfield Suite, Prestwich which will take place on Friday 14th October, where they will be given a ten-minute slot to present their business and answer any questions the elite judging panel may have.
The judges have the tough job of selecting 3 finalists for each category and these will be announced on the 18th October.
The winners, as well as highly commended and commended, will be announced at a sparkling black-tie awards ceremony on Thursday 1st December 2016 at the Longfield Suite, Prestwich.
The Made in Bury Business Awards acknowledge the success of Bury’s diverse business community and are one of most anticipated corporate events in the borough.
