Newbank Garden Centre ended 2013 on a high by sponsoring the Creative category in the Made in Bury Business Awards.
Since opening their Radcliffe premises back in 1990, Newbank Garden Centre has become a household name across Bury. The centre was opened on the site of the old Irwell Bank Farm. The farm buildings were then converted to house the garden furniture shops, homeware shops, giftware shops, houseplant rooms and acres of glasshouses stocked with a vast array of plants.
Newbank Garden Centre is a great place to visit, offering a unique shopping experience in the heart of Bury. Youll find everything you need for the home and garden under one roof. The centre is always changing and new product lines are added regularly. In fact its not unusual for visitors to spend a good few hours browsing and not even realise where the time has gone!
As well as all the gardening products and plants you expect to find at any self-respecting garden centre, Newbank stocks a huge variety of homeware and giftware. Popular names in these departments include Orla Kiely, Cottage Delight, Wax Lyrical, Newgate Clocks, Terramundi, Joseph Joseph and Caroline Gardner.
Of course, you might be in need of a little refreshment after so much retail theray. Luckily, all you need to do is visit the centres adjoining cafÃÆ€™Ãƒ€šÃ‚©, Irwells Bistro. The bistro is set in a beautifully converted farmhouse with peaceful views over landscaped gardens. As Irwells Bistro is fully licensed, you can enjoy specially selected wines along with a delicious selection of homemade meals, light bites, coffee and cakes.
