This year, Made in Bury welcome new sponsors Barclays, who are sponsoring the Creative category. This award is to celebrate businesses and individuals working in the creative sector including digital, marketing, communications, PR and design agencies, cake makers, florists and many more.

Last year’s winner of the Creative Award was the well-deserved winners The Met.

Barclays is a British universal bank operating in over 40 countries with approximately 83,500 employees. With Headquarters in London,  Barclays is one of the UK’s leading banks and has over 325 years of history and expertise.  Barclays offers a range of business services including investment banking, personal banking, wealth management and investment management.

Barclays have launched a five-year initiative – Thriving Local Economies – to understand the drivers and barriers to local economic success. At a time of economic change, Barclays understand the importance of working together to help take The UK forward. There are four pilot areas situated in different parts of the country, with Bury being the first. Barclays will undertake research and collaborate with local stakeholders to establish how these local economies can be better supported. As a result, the findings in Bury will be relevant to other places with similar demographics and economies.

Made in Bury look forward to Barclays sponsoring the awards for the first time year.
