Preparations for the Made in Bury Business Awards are now in full swing, and we're beginning to get excited! From booking the entertainment to deciding on the menu, we're making sure that on the 1st December, it's going to be one of our best award nights yet! 

This week, Debi (the office veggie) and Emilie (the office foodie) took themselves off for a food tasting to ensure that the menu we've selected is perfect for our award-winners and their guests. 

Debi tried the vegetarian menu, which started with a Caprese Salad, drizzled with a delcious garlic dressing, followed by "posh" cheese and onion pie, served with Dauphinoise potatoes and a selection of vegetables. The dessert is the same for vegetarians as meat-eaters, and is three beautiful miniature cakes, drizzled with a gorgeous chocolate sauce. 

Emilie tasted the meat menu, which started with a delicious smoked salmon mousseline covered with beetroot, served with salad, followed by chicken en croute, stuffed with mushrooms and accompanied by a Madeira sauce, along with Dauphinois potatoes, broccoli and carrots. 

We thought we would share with you this delightfully delicious sneak peek of what you can expect at the Made in Bury Business Awards, and we'd recommend you arrive hungry! With a couple of tweaks, we're making sure that this menu will suit everybody's taste on the night.
