With the MIBBA’s well underway, the celebrations continued and this year, with 21 business categories and fierce competition, our panel of judges had some tough decisions to make. But before the winners were announced, we welcomed to the stage our final act, the sensational Bury Community Choir.

This was a first for this years MIBBA’s, as we brought 50 individuals to the stage who wowed our guests with a show stopping performance.

Formed in 2013, the choir is led by Katie Geelan who is a specialist music teacher. The choir is open for people who live or work in the Bury area.

From start to finish, the choir certainly brought goose bumps to the room and even more so when they rounded up the evening with a heartfelt performance of ‘The Ultimate Manchester Mash-Up’ which was released to raise money in conjunction with The British Red Cross Society for all of those affected by the attack on the Manchester Arena. It truly was the perfect way to conclude our performances for the evening.

The Made in Bury Business Awards invite local businesses of all sizes across varying sectors to take part. For more information please visit http://www.madeinbury.co.uk/business-awards The awards are free to enter and entries open on 1st May 2020.
