Will you be entering the MIBBA’s?

The Made in Bury Business Awards are now in their fifth year! This year, the entries open on May 2nd and when you think about it, it’s not long to wait at all. We’re so excited for the awards process to begin! We’ve made lots of changes and can’t wait to share some new categories with you but more on that later…

Now, it wouldn’t be the Made in Bury Business Awards (MIBBA’s), without a spotlight on our sponsors and this week it’s AFG LAW.

Did you know that they run weekly drop-in legal clinics at their Bolton office? Every Wednesday evening between 5 pm and 6 pm people can come along and speak to a solicitor about family, criminal, civil and property law issues. They also have an IFA from AFG Financial Planning on hand if you have any pension or financial matters to discuss. There’s no need to book either, just drop into AFG LAW's office on Mawdlsey Street, Bolton.  AFG LAW also offer a free legal clinic for grandparents on the 4th Tuesday of the month at their Bury office 10-12noon.

It’s understandable that for some, the prospect of seeking legal advice and guidance can be daunting. Rest assured with AFG LAW you’ll feel at ease as these solicitors are approachable and understanding. They pride themselves on offering clear and straightforward advice no matter the situation.

AFG LAW are known for being great listeners, whether you need support or some form of advice, their expert solicitors will ensure that they offer an honest no-jargon approach to guide you in the right direction. From buying a house, creating a will, to settling a divorce or addressing a personal injury claim, they’ll be there for you even when the unexpected happens.

We have some exciting news to share with you, Emma Cordock and Carl Fletcher have now become Directors of AFG LAW. Emma specialises in family law and Carl heads their property team. If you need any help at all please call Emma (0161 359 3880) or Carl (01204 377600).

Emma joined AFG LAW in November 2007. She qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2008 and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in April 2011. She specialises in representing parents and grandparents in care proceedings and working with victims of domestic violence.

Carl joined AFG LAW in June 1996 and commenced studying for the legal executive qualification. Working within the residential property department, Carl predominantly acts on behalf of clients in the sale and purchase of domestic properties, remortgages, and equity release transactions.

We were ecstatic when they entered the Made in Bury Business Awards in 2013 and since then have become the proud owners of THE AFG LAW PROPERTY & CONSTRUCTION AWARD.

So here’s to 2017, The Made in Bury Business Awards and of course AFG LAW.
