The process involves judging some very high-quality entries from an array of law firms, accountants, HR companies, mortgage advisors and much more. Year on year the standard only improves and the judging gets tougher.

In 2018, the award was renamed The Nettl of Bury Professional, Legal and Financial Award in recognition of the continued support that Jason gives to the Made in Bury Business Awards. 2019 saw Jason Groves take to the stage and award the winners trophy to Prestfield Wealth Management with Highly Commended going to The UK Adviser and Commended being awarded to PM + M Solutions for Business LLP.
