On Tuesday 21st June, Made in Bury are inviting individuals who are thinking about starting a new business or have started a new Bury based business after March 2020 to a discovery meeting to find out more information about The Made in Bury Business Academy.
The meeting will be held at Europa House, BusinessLodge, Barcroft Street, Bury, BL9 5BT at 6-7pm.
The Made in Bury Business Academy was established in 2016, providing start-up businesses in the borough of Bury with invaluable training and mentoring support through a funded structured training programme consisting of 18 modules delivered over the academic year by successful business owners and industry experts.
The modules include Building a Brand, Price Positioning, Selling Skills, Networking, Social Media and many more.
Each year the Discovery meeting is attended by a large range of Bury based businesses from all sectors, including photographers, architects, event planners, digital marketing agencies, cake makers, cleaners, estate agents and dog groomers to name just a few, every business sector is invited to come along.
The discovery meeting will give new start-up’s an in-depth overview of what is covered in the Academy and there will be an opportunity to speak to current and past Academy members during a Q&A session at the end of the meeting. Businesses that are interested in the course can take away an application form for the 2022 course starting in September.

The Made in Bury Business Academy is funded by the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw, a not for profit initiative licensed by Bury Council. All profits go towards helping new businesses within the Bury borough.
